Our Story

This exceptional locally built “last ever” hand crafted Rasmussen Log Chalet was sourced from OK Falls and specifically constructed by sought after talented local builders, Wayne and Neil Dennill and finished by Katlin Jones of Carlyle Contracting Ltd.

Founded in 1968, this ski resort is nestled on the mountain tops of the Okanagan-Similkameen and Boundary-Kootenay region of BC. With one of the highest base elevations in BC at 5,665ft. it is still considered a “hidden gem” known by locals for its untracked powder and glade skiing/boarding with an annual snowfall of over 20ft.

Proprietors, Deb and Greg met in 1980 in Calgary, Alberta. Their first date was night skiing at Canada Olympic Park. Their love for skiing and family time made Mt. Baldy a love at first sight location for Tinhorn Lodge.
